The experienced, knowledgeable, and humble Kid Peligro came by VMAT July 18, 2010 and gave an excellent seminar! It was more than just techniques. He shared concepts to positions and approaches that every BJJ practitioner should know to grow in the game. Although he did show an AWESOME gi choke! Kid covered concepts from the defensive aspect and foundational skills. Techniques you may be familiar with, Kid was able to show how to make it better and much more efficient.
Everyone had a great time and definitely grew in knowledge. Thanks Kid!
Gotta also mention his book “The Essential Guard” has a wealth of practical information to improve your game.

Sore from a weekend of snowboarding or skiing. Try an Epsom salt bath. Fill up your tub with hot as you can take water and add half of a half gallon of epsom salt. Soak for 20 min.

Make sure you read the label for any contraindications.

Great job at the tournament. We want to recognize all of our team for doing a great job! Congratulations to Dane Sparling 14 for 1st place kids, Paz Tapia 11 for 1st place kids, Dane Rivera 13 for 3rd place kids, Josh Clemmer for 2nd, and Roger for 2nd place in the adult division. And a big heads up to Chanz for all around awesome effort!

Best thing to eat before a spin class. Bowl of oatmeal with a scoop of vanilla protein powder.

Cook your oats. Add Tsp of coconut oil, add scoop Jay Robbs vanilla whey protein powder stir. Add blueberries and walnuts to make it even better.

Jared successfully made his weight. He is set to fight tomorrow on the preliminary card his opponent is Rodney Wallace. We all wish him the best of luck.
